CITY REVIVAL BOYS HOME - Our site for this project
TASK:
The main purpose of this mcmc project is to further develop community skills by working in teams. Our task is to identify the environmental-community issues at a site. Therefore, we have chosen City Revival Boys Home because we found out a lot of issues that can be solved by using critical thinking skills. The final submission for this project is to create a video of the process of the entire project and also a report.
LEARNING OUTCOMES:
1. Produce a complete documentation of the entire project from proposal up to completion
2. Produce a multi media presentation on the issue and process taken to resolve the issue
3. To be able to demonstrate problem-solving skills
4. Recognise role and responsibility of an architect towards environment and society.
5. Exemplify creativity in attempting to explore the current environmental circumstances

Problem Solving and Creative Thinking SkillsThis is a very challenging project and is also one of the most interesting one yet. It was tough for us especially we have only 5 in a team but we did not give us, we struggled throughout the whole project but still managed to complete the task. It was really grateful that I could help out the boys home by solving the problem at the housing area. This project has taught me a lot about the environmental design, which is very helpful for my future professional career. I also learned to work well and communicate with group members so that work can be done faster, better and of course more efficient. Moreover, it was a great experience building a dustbin using wood. We also encounters a lot of problems but we managed to solve them one by one using our critical thinking and problem solving skills. Not only that, I also had a chance to work with the video and learned a lot about how to make a informative yet interesting video. It was a great experience and I hope to help out the community anytime.
