THE PADDOCK SITE AT FRASER'S HILL
TASK:
There are 2 parts in this project which were divided by 10% and 20%. The 10% part is a site condition and analysis, which we work in a big group. For this 10% group work, my group were given the task of the site model. However for the 20%, which is to design a bird watching tower, we had to work in a pair, choose a site out of three and design based on the site and character given. We also had to do conceptual sketches and also models the character given to me was an ARMY.
LEARNING OUTCOMES:
1) generate structure, form and space through architectural conceptualisation
2) show the importance of
using the art of crafting and making

REFLECTION

In this project, I have learned a lot about site analysis. I have got to know that site analysis is a very important first step for a better design. Not only that, as we work in a big group, I've learned to actually have great teamwork with everyone else in the team. We've spent nights doing the entire site model, solving problems after problems. Moreover, I've also learned that communication is very important especially working in a pair as designs might be very different from two different person, that is why communication is very important.
