Retreat House For An Army
TASK :
This final project is quite related to the previous Bird Watching Tower project as now we have to create a retreat house for my client, army. We were then required to come out with two A1 presentation boards about the concept and design and also a model for the retreat house.
LEARNING OUTCOMES:

1. interpret and analyse simple site context
2.interpret and analyse client’s character and needs in relation to the design of a small building
3.design a simple building type that meets user requirements and respect site context that balances both internal (architectural spaces/layout/circulation) and external (aesthetics and forms) design values

Thinking, Problem Solving and Creative Thinking Skills
Intrapersonal SkillsI have learned a lot in this project, especially on how to think critically while designing. Designing requires a lot of process, I started with a very simple form and slowly transformed into another better shape with function, solving problems after problems and getting the final product. I have also learned that every tutorial is very important because every tutorial, my design improves. Moreover, I also learned that time management is very important, I must manage my time well next time in order to achieve the things I want and never underestimate any work assigned.
