DESIGN COMMUNICATION 1B : HATCHING


Objectives of Project
1. To understand the notion of space and detailing's in architecture and objects
2. To develop various techniques of hatching through different medium
3. To develop skills in communicating the above in various tonal and depth values


Learning Outcome of This Project
1. Four variations of sketching techniques based upon you're design studio prototype model.


TASK
1. Produce four variations of a tonal value sketch
2. Examples of hatching include stippling, cross-hatching, one-directional(hatching) and scribbling


Submission Requirement
1. Four A4-sized sketches to be mounted on A1 size mounting board
2. Label appropriately title of each sketch according to the technique
3. Name, group and project title must be written/ indicated at the lower bottom of the board

In this project, I learned different kind of rendering techniques such as stippling, hatching, cross-hatching, and scribbling. I also got to know how to use different kinds of rendering skills to show different angles and make a perfect 3-dimensional sketch.
