DESIGN COMMUNICATION PROJECT 2B : AXONOMETRIC PROJECTION

DESIGN COMMUNICATION PROJECT 2B : AXONOMETRIC PROJECTION

Objectives of this project
1. Learn how to execute an axonometric projection by generating partial of an external and a sectional (internal) axonometric of the house
2. These projections will be generated on an A2-sized butter paper and then inked on an A2-sized tracing paper for final submission. Scale 1:75

Learning Outcomes of This Project
1.  Ability to express spatial ideas and architectural detail in three-dimension, in the format of an axonometric projection.
2. Understanding of what axonometric projections are, how to generate them and how to apply them to the design process and presentation.
3. Ability to produce legible architectural drawings.

TASK
1. Refer to the orthographic projection and documents for the measurements and informations for this project
2. Trace final ink drawing onto the tracing paper from butter paper

Submission Requirement
1. Construction drawing ( Pencil on Butter Paper )
2. Final presentation drawing ( Ink on Tracing Paper )
3. Parts of the Farnsworth house must show interior and some parts and exterior

In this project, I learned how to draw an axonometric projection from the previous project. I also got to experience using the architecture tools like T-Ruler and also set square, which is the key tool for this projects. Not only that, I also learned to draw 3-dimensionally from the plan and elevations of the building and also creating the axonometric projection to show the interior and whole of building.
